Jeopardy! & Trivia
Former contestant, and — depending on who you ask — the internet's favorite example of exactly how not to answer a clue on live television. Great icebreaker. Possibly a peak I'll never reach again.
I build technology that helps people. From classrooms in San Diego to clinics in rural South Africa to the boardrooms preparing for the next major storm — my work has always been about the same thing: using what we know to protect the people who need it most.
When I was in high school in San Diego, I started building tools to help low-income and at-risk students get the academic support they needed. Nothing fancy — just the right technology in the right hands at the right time. That was the moment I realized this is what I wanted to spend my life doing: building things that make the playing field a little more level.
That instinct led me to cancer diagnostics, where I co-founded Proscia — a cloud-based AI platform that helps pathologists analyze cancer biopsies faster and more accurately. Then to Kubanda Cryotherapy, where we designed a breast cancer treatment system for rural women in South Africa and Uganda at less than 6% of the cost of existing options.
Today, I'm the founder and CEO of Almunakh, where I'm focused on the challenge that touches every community, every industry, and every family: how do we prepare for a climate that is no longer predictable?
The thread that ties all of it together is pretty simple — I believe the best technology should reach the people who need it most, not just the people who can afford it. That belief shapes everything I build.
"Turning climate uncertainty into business resilience — instantly."
Extreme weather doesn't send a calendar invite. Almunakh is an AI-native platform that helps the world's most weather-exposed organizations — airlines, retailers, cities, logistics operators — convert real-time climate signals into operational decisions their teams can act on immediately.
The goal is straightforward: help businesses and communities reduce their risk, protect their people, and stop being surprised by events they could have seen coming.
Real-time climate and weather data woven into every layer of operations — supply chain, storefront, fleet, and community infrastructure.
Forecasts built for your specific business — not generic weather dashboards repackaged as insight.
Clear, jargon-free, and built for the people who have to make the call — not just the team that runs the data.
A handful of projects and tools — each one an attempt to put technology in the hands of people who can use it.

Twenty years of it. Internationally awarded. Still, somehow, terrified of sight-reading.
$2K+/year winner. Ask about my draft strategy — then regret it immediately.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Conversationally dangerous in Spanish.
I believe in showing up for the place you live. Civics isn't a spectator sport — it's the most important thing we do together.
Whether it's climate resilience, technology, community, or something entirely different — I'm always interested in hearing from people who care about making things better. Reach out. I'll respond.
